Events Operations Manager - central London - £45,000
Events Logistics Coordinator / Events Logistics Manager / Events Operations Coordinator / Events Project Manager / Project Manager (Events)
A fantastic opportunity to take a leading role as an Events Operations Manager has arisen within a highly regarded professional media business on a one year fixed term contract. Working alongside media professionals worldwide and offering insight into an industry which is consistently transforming.
Reporting to the Head of Projects, the successful candidate will oversee the organisational logistics leading up to their large scale annual event and exhibition. Ensuring the successful delivery of the event including; budgets, timelines, plans and defining roles and responsibilities. Additionally, you will work to refine project concepts, commercial arrangements and proof plans and incorporate project management methodology in your approach.
Your daily duties will include;
Providing line management of the wider team members
Ensuring effective resource to complete the project successfully
Organising and facilitating project groups
Consistently agree objectives and ensure that they are met in time
Planning and executing business development projects
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in organising large scales exhibitions and events and some demonstrable experience of leading a team. Additionally, it is essential that you are highly confident in liaising with senior stakeholders with professionalism, with the ability to push back when required. Although not essential to securing the role, the stand out candidate would also have experience gained within the media industry.
This is an initial 12 month FTC that attracts a starting salary of up to £45,000. If you feel you have proven experience for the role, it would be great to hear from you.
