Supply Chain Administrator

Dovetail Recruitment are pleased to be working with a very successful company in the Lymington area in recruiting for a Supply Chain Administrator to join their friendly, growing team. They have a great loyal employee record and offer great progression and development opportunities.

The successful Supply Chain Administrator will be assisting in the smooth running of customer accounts, managing numerous suppliers and monitoring orders.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Raising purchase orders, arranging sign off and sending to factories
  • Reviewing samples against specifications, ensuring they are correct
  • Arranging quality inspections and monitoring factory production times
  • Requesting shipping schedules and organising shipping documents
  • Obtaining quotes and liaising with shipping agents to arrange shipments
  • Investigating any delivery discrepancies

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Previous supply chain / order processing experience, ideally with international customers/suppliers
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Good problem solver who can think outside of the box
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft Office

Salary and Benefits:

  • £18,000 - £21,000 per annum
  • 22 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Free parking
  • Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm
  • Potential to grow and progress within the company
