Procurement Specialist - Sheffield - Up to £45,000 + Bonus + excellent benefits Chase and Holland are proud to be working with a rapidly growing Sheffield based organisation who are looking to recruit a Procurement specialist to join their management team. This newly created role will see you work within a unique commercially focused business in a highly regulated industry. Procurement Specialist Responsibilities: * Supplier relationship management * Implementation of procurement policies and procedures * Manage evaluation and moderation processes for all large value procurements * Lead and co-ordinate Public Sector regulated tenders * Provide input into the business planning a budgeting process * Embed and develop continuous Category Management improvements * Carry out forward planning of procurement activity including reviewing tender event schedules * Be a member of working groups on all projects that have a significant spend planned or a commercial impact on the organisation * Be a main point of contact with internal and external legal advisors * Assist the Head of Commercial and Procurement in establishing the function as a strategic partner to all other functions within the business Key Requirements and Preferences: * Extensive experience in procurement ideally within both the public and private sectors * An understanding of public procurement legislation and regulation * Good experience of professional services procurement * An all-round procurement strategist and practitioner * High level of knowledge of Contract Formation * Broad category expertise (Services) Hours of work - 37 hours per week- Monday to Friday (Flexible working) In return you'll receive: * 15% bonus scheme * 30 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays + the option to purchasing an additional 5 days * 15% matched pension scheme If you are interested in finding out about this exciting Procurement Specialist opportunity, click 'apply now'.
