Pod Talent are working with an exciting Product design business going through a substantial period of growth. Due to this they are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and driven Procurement manager who will be able to add value to the Supply Chain process whilst also identifying cost saving opportunities. In this role you will be expected to define and deliver a buying strategy for goods, materials and services, to ensure high quality products are sourced at the lowest reasonable costs. Additional responsibilities for this role are below: * Cost reductions for existing SKU's * Establish a database of new and existing suppliers and capabilities * Put in place contracts/terms with top 10 suppliers * Improve lead times * Improve the Procure to Pay process This is a role where you can truly play a part in how the company positions itself, along with being able to play a significant role to work with NPD on new products and be part of the Senior Leadership team. To be suitable for this role you will need to possess the following skills and experience: * Strong procurement experience in the Manufacturing sector * Desire for continuous improvement with a result driven attitude * Numerate, Analytical and IT literate * A background in providing cost solutions * Structured approach to problem solving.
