Manufacturing Production Manager-Lean, Operations, Quality

The position is with a global manufacturing leader in the materials engineering sector, and this site has grown rapidly due to investment and increased demand for its products.

This a very challenging senior level position where you can make a significant impact on improving the sites performance. There are no direct line reports but you will lead cross functional teams.

The role:

1. Provide Site Leadership with respect to Operational Excellence, Safety, Quality Lean Manufacturing & continuous improvement
2. Manage and develop the site Project Portfolio
3. Respond to quality problems and lead analysis of issues as well as problem solving initiatives to identify and correct root causes
4. The role will involve a significant amount of training and capability building

To apply you should have:

1. Excellent academic and working experience of manufacturing operations including standardisation, built-in-quality, problem solving, flow, TPM, planning & control techniques,
2. Experience of delivering change around Lean
3. A Six Sigma Black Belt or similar qualification
4. Significant experience in people management including change management.
