Are you a commercially minded Purchasing Manager looking to move to a growing organisation? Do you have experience of ensuring the supply of quality products to meet the needs of a diverse customer base? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!


As Purchasing Manager you will have responsibility of sourcing, purchasing and supplying quality interior products to this organisation's customers. You will be the main point of contact for the supply base and will manage supplier performance levels and lead times. You will also develop cross functional plans for categories working very closely with the marketing team.


Reporting into the Commercial Director, you will work with the finance team on rebate management, develop and support category strategies and manage margins and analysis to support growth. You will negotiate with suppliers and take ownership of stock and inventory levels and stock movement. You will also review product ranges and make recommendations to the Commercial Director.


In order to carry out this role, you will need the following skills and experience:

  • Demonstrable experience within a commercial management role
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A customer focused attitude
  • Strong organisations, planning, decision making and problem solving skills
  • Results driven outlook


In return, you will receive a salary of circa £40,000 plus car allowance, bonus and pension.
