Howarth Morris are exclusively recruiting for a successful SME based on the Wirral. Due to expansion this organisation plans to increase its turnover 5 fold in the next 12 months; and are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to take on this new role and co-ordinate and develop the transport division in the northwest.

If you are a hands on Operations Manager with either Transport/Logistics or Project Management experience, overseeing the daily delivery of fleet services, ensuring maximum operational capacity is achieved and are looking to develop your role and career as the company continues to rapidly grow; then this may be the role for you.

Responsibilities will include:-

• Performance & attendance management of staff
• Provide leadership and support to all staff within the team.
• Report management
• Co-ordinate rota management and optimisation
• KPI delivery
• Exception reporting
• Efficient use of resources
• Talent identification
• Effective communication with employees
• Procurement of supplies and consumable's from preferred suppliers

- Flexible approach to the working week, (weekends will be part of the working week)
- Induct new team members into relevant local processes and Operational Procedures
- To plan and organise workload within tight timescales and to set and work to agreed objectives
