Senior Technology Operations Manager - Southampton
£65,000 - £75,000 + £4.5K car
We are looking for a Senior Manager to lead the UK Technology Operations team for a highly innovative global organisation who are going through a large period of growth. You will manage and have significant influence on shaping a team of around 35 individuals who support a variety of infrastructure across EUC, server & storage, network & comms and applications.
As the Senior Manager you will have the following responsibilities:
- Provide guidance to the technical teams directly and through Team Leads/Managers and bridge the gap to the VP of Technology Infrastructure and Operations
- Plan strategies to ease the transition process between projects and operations
- Prepare technology plans and budgets
- Review vendor products and services
- Assist in the hiring process and facilitate the integration of new hires into the teams
The successful candidate will have a broad technical background/knowledge and have previous experience bridging the gap between multiple technical teams and senior management/VP's. Knowledge of or qualifications in ITIL is preferred.
