Time Appointments are delighted to be working on behalf of a manufacturing business based near Colchester. The requirement for a new Supply Chain Administrator has become available in a thriving industry and as part of a reputable business. The right candidate will be educated with a Business Management degree or have experience working in a purchasing/supply chain position, with good Excel and SAP knowledge.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in processes of NPD, supply chain strategy and improvements.
  • Support Customer Service Team Leader in forecasting future sales demand for all products
  • Engage and communicate with buyers and sales team, challenging if necessary to meet deadlines
  • Control stock at optimum levels throughout the supply chain
  • Control supply chain relationships with a global customer base encouraging close collaboration and driving down end to end costs
  • Validate the data against the forecast and ERP systems
  • Ensure that all sales orders are placed within agreed times and managed end to end
