Operational Project Manager - Retail Knowledge

My client, a leading technology company, is looking for a Regional Project Manager with experience in Marketing/Retail/Sales to join their Channel Marketing team on a contract basis until the end of the year.

The role

Manage communication of project milestones, expectations, and updates to all relevant stakeholders, including Regional and Corporate channel & device marketing teams, Trade teams, external agencies and suppliers, and key OEM and retail partners. Weekly calls with Stakeholders (including weekly calls with Worldwide teams that will run in to early evening due to timezone)

Coordinating Across 2 Sub Regions

• Manage the communication of regional key project milestones, expectations , and updates to all relevant stakeholders, including Regional and Corporate channel & device marketing teams, Trade teams, external agencies and suppliers, and key OEM and retail partners
• Key point of contact for production and shipping agencies across EMEA
• Production forecast and delivery management including communication of final orders and any customisation required
• Oversee production of localised installation and execution guides for each market
• Key point of contact for Trade EMEA customs planning and queries
• Understand retailer and consumer demographics and trends in each market
• Review exception proposals submitted by Channel Marketing teams
• Support site layout and field landing execution of fixture deployment.
• Support all field team escalations on a weekly basis with a response service level agreement of 3 work days until resolution.

Requirements

• Project Management (detail orientated & excellent at managing milestones) & Communication skills (simplifying the complex for a wider audience)
• Solution orientated, focused on delivering the end results with strong influencing skills
• Knows / understands retail detail (logistics, fixtures, warehousing, operational hours and 'shut down' timings)
