Our client is now seeking a full time Air Product Clerk to join their team. This position supports their Air Freight Department by processing daily export shipments.

Main duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Liaising with customers both internal and external
  • Arranging daily collections and deliveries
  • Branch compliance to include timely milestone updates
  • Liaising with airlines, handling agents and other freight forwarding companies
  • Export customs brokerage and compliance

The successful candidate will have:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft office including Word & Excel
  • A good team player and the ability to work on own initiative and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, both written & spoken
  • Good telephone manner
  • Flexible, friendly and enthusiastic attitude
  • Strong customer service skills essential

Previous experience working within the freight forwarding industry would be preferred although not essential. Full training is provided with this role.

You may be required to work additional or/and unsociable hours to meet the needs of the entire operation so some flexibility regarding working hours is necessary.
