It will bring, energy, environmental, production and all other business data into one single real-time data insights platform for our Business Customers. We like to call it, ‘google for our customers’, as they are not only able to measure their energy usage in real time, but by using a vast array of sensors, they can measure all other business data too. We’re talking about going beyond the billing meter, deep into our customer’s business infrastructure to provide customers with data insights that exceed anything else on the market today. With such a new product on our horizon, we need you to join us to help create and build a successful business from scratch, develop your team and design your own governance frameworks and processes to ensure we deliver for our customers and npower.

Role Description

This opportunity is a 12 month fixed term contract and you will be working from home and when required, various office locations around the UK. You will be managing the entire end to end service delivery of this product to our customers, you’ll be involved in supporting our sales team with pitching to prospective customers and being on hand to support with any technical sub-metering specific questions.

Your remit will include ensuring site surveys are completed for the generation of contracts and making sure the project is delivered with each customer to agreed timescales. You’ll be liaising with sub-contractors to ensure we have adequate resource to deliver installations to customer sites, managing yours and their time appropriately to ensure the installations take place outside of normal working hours. This comes with the responsibility of ensuring health and safety is a priority and embedding this into your teams working culture. You’ll project manage each sale through to delivery, making sure each point of the process runs smoothly.

Required skills and experience

Ideally you’ll have the following skills and experience to be the successful applicant:

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and be able to build up good rapport with other internal business segments
  • Experience of Health and Safety and embedding this into policies and processes
  • Project management skills with the ability to find the root cause of a problem and offer solutions
  • Line management experience with the ability to manage and plan resource
  • Be customer facing at all levels from the board down and ensure a great customer experience
  • Have the ability to adapt and deliver technical information in a way that is tailored to your audience
  • Metering experience and be conversant with Wiring Regulations
  • Business Management experience

Salary and package details

Up to £40,000 plus a bonus opportunity of up to 15%, car allowance of £4,000 pa, generous company pension scheme, 25 days holiday, a Home Working Allowance of £150 pa and the ability to opt in to our flexible benefits scheme.
