Bid Manager

A small / medium sized main contractor is looking for a Bid Manager to join their ever-growing business. This contractor is renowned for their ongoing development and career opportunities.

The Bid Manager Role

As the Bid Manager you will play a pivotal part in helping generate successfully bid opportunities for projects across London. The bid manager will have a key focus on the creation of high quality, often complex, bids and proposals.

The bid manager will work very closely alongside the wider bid team during the initial stages of a bid and ensuring you improve the efficiency of the bid process and the management of multi project proposals.

  • Manage the bid qualification process
  • Deliver completed written responses against agreed deadlines, escalating issues as required
  • Day to day management and submission of planning applications
  • Attending Bid Team meetings
  • Collating tender documents and contracts

The Bid Manager

The successful Bid Manager will ideally have a background in a bidding / administration, and the below key skills:

  • MS Office programmes (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and preferably InDesign
  • Good organisational skills and a high attention to detail
  • A strong work ethic
  • Ideally degreed educated however not essential
