A successful business based in Milton Keynes are looking for an experienced and qualified Operations Reporting and Accounting Manager.
A successful business based in Milton Keynes are looking for an experienced and qualified Operations Reporting and Accounting Manager to provide financial reporting, analysis and support to the operations leadership teams. The Operations Reporting and Accounting Manager will partner with the business to support and drive cost efficiency.
Responsibilities:

Manage the month end accounting process for selling and distribution costs working closely with the Performance Managers) to ensure complete, accurate and timely month end reporting

Manage the Weekly outputs and Weekly/Monthly payment checks for 3PL's
-
Produce and maintain financial reporting packs ensuring KPIs and presentation remains aligned to the objectives of the operations teams

Analyse and challenge costs with central managers to drive improvements in the financial performance of the business

Manage the production and maintenance of cost guides in collaboration with the operations teams, helping managers understand their P&Ls and the costs they can control

Support analysis and evaluation of ad hoc projects with operations seeking to improve cost efficiency

Forecasting and Budgeting

Support the personal and professional development of the Operations Finance Team
Candidate Profile:
-
Degree educated and a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)

Great attention to detail
-
Proficient in working across functions and levels of the business
-
High level of influencing skills
-
Cool Headed - keeping calm in high speed environment
-
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritising as required and manage stakeholder expectations accordingly
