Junior Buyer - Global Company - London - £30,000

My client is looking for someone at the start of their career looking to gain exposure within a Global best-in class Procurement function. In this role you will be working closely with Global Category Managers to act as the single point of contact for all buying requests across general indirects categories (HR, Marketing, Travel, Professional Services). You will work raise Purchase Requisitions within SAP in line with policies and procedures.

This opportunity is a fantastic opportunity for you to gain tailored development plan from industry recognised Procurement professionals. The Procurement function has been recognised within industry and has been nominated for many Procurement awards, including: "Procurement Transformation Team of 2018". The opportunity will see you progress into a Strategic Procurement Specialist within 12-18 months.

My client is looking for someone who has had some exposure to pay or P2P systems such as SAP. In this role you will be interfacing with senior Global stakeholders, so my client is looking for someone who has the gravitas to interface and build up long-standing relationships with Global stakeholders.

Required background:-

• Exposure to requisition to pay process
• Ideally experience with SAP is desirable for this role
• Strong academic background (recent degree from a Red Brick university)
• Ability to start a role ASAP
• Personable and engaging, with ability to build up long-standing relationships
