Supply Chain & Demand Planning Manager
£60,000 - £70,000 + Benefits
South Manchester
Role Profile
This is an exciting opportunity, based in South Manchester, to join a value-driven global distribution business as a Supply Chain & Demand Planning Manager. This is a cross-functional role, driving supply chain excellence and cost efficiency across the business' UK teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in demand planning, inventory management and process improvement. They will be able to manage multiple sites remotely and exhibit a desire to progress and grow the business.
Key responsibilities
* Demand planning and inventory management
* Effectively managing a multi-site UK team including over 20 planners
* Communicating effectively with stakeholders across different functions within the business
* Identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvement
* ERP development
* Improving forecast accuracy and optimising availability
* Participating in European supply chain strategy
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will:
* Experienced in demand planning and inventory management
* Have experience managing multiple sites remotely
* Have proven experience in process improvement within a commercial environment
* Be proficient in SAP
* Have a hands-on approach and an aptitude for stake-holder management
* Exhibit a desire to progress and ambition to grow the business
