Reed Business Support are proud to be recruiting for an Operations and Facilities Manager on behalf of a well known and prestigious 5* family run leisure company based in North Cumbria. 

As an Operations & Facilities Manager you will be taking personal responsibility for a 5* hygiene standard Bar & Restaurant within a beautiful leisure park.

The successful candidates roles and responsibilities will include: 

  • Managing and oversee the day to day working tasks of all members of staff under your direct supervision including rota management
  • Ensuring staff are working to requirements and that a high level of customer service is maintained at all times
  • Involvement in the recruitment of seasonal staff (bar & kitchen staff)
  • Taking charge of stock and stock rotation within the bar and kitchen, buying in stock and ensuring demands can be met at all times including events
  • Overseeing Health & Safety, Environmental Health & other compliance, maintaining standards, completing and recording any relevant paperwork and representing the business at audits
  • Working closely with the Park Manager and Sales Manager in the organisation and execution of events

Salary, Hours & Benefits

  • £30,000 - £40,000 per annum (dependent upon experience
  • 40 hours per week on average with flexibility for evenings and weekends / high season demands required - winter hours will be shorter than summer hours for example
  • 28 days annual leave (inc. bank holidays)
