My Client is a leading Aerospace Manufacturing and Production business based in Redhill looking to recruit in to their production planning team with a new role of Customer Supply Planner.

Description

The key responsibilities for the Customer Supply Planner role based in Redhill are as follows:

  • Plan and control production schedules for internal and external manufacturing to ensure on time delivery to customers
  • In collaboration with Cell Manager, continuously improve MPS and MRP adherence and report these figures into daily management system.
  • Through Order Process Review show trace ability of customer order status to meet process KPIs
  • Cultivate Strong relationships with customer and subcontract representatives
  • Analyse project information and requests received from the customer's portal or email; effectively communicate the customer's requirements to the Management team and to the shop floor
  • Assemble OPR packs complete with process sheets, routing cards and expected completion dates
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with documented policies and procedures as designated by the company's Quality System
  • Identify and support continuous improvement efforts with Cell Manager
  • Stand in for the Cell Manager when he/she is not on site
  • Produce Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), as determined by the Management team
  • Assist in Implementing the company's Health and Safety Policy, ensuring safe working conditions and practices are maintained

Profile

The successful candidate for the Customer Supply Planner based in Redhill will have the following skill set:

  • Previous experience in a similar role 3+ years Inventory/planning environment.
  • Familiar with ERP/ MPS/ MRP system.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Comfortable managing customer communication
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as Drawings, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written communications.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, goal oriented, and time sensitive environment.
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with Management and shop floor.
  • Ability to analyse and solve problems.

Desired

  • Degree preferred (Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement or related field
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
  • Knowledge/understanding of part 21G, 145 and ISO9001/2008 certification.
