Description
The key responsibilities for the Demand planner 12m FTC based in reading are as follows -
- To support implementation and maintenance of integrated business planning
- To manage global demand and supply requirements with markets and sites
- To generate data and prepare information for the Product S&OP Manager (forecast summary and assumptions, DRP, inventory status, KPI preparation and reporting for their assigned products).
- To work with Distributors and regional partners as appropriate and agree on demand and supply requirements, pro-actively managing communication.
- To ensure that excellent customer service is provided at all times
- To be knowledgeable in and understand in detail the processes involved in working with Legality Demand Planning, Inventory Planning modules and DRP /ERP application.
- Develop strong working relationships with Global Forecasters
- Co-ordinate requests for new data requirements including setting-up of new item codes in ERP application
- To simplify current global forecast process and improve data accuracy

Profile
The successful candidate for the Demand Planner 12m FTC based in Reading will have the following skill set:
- Knowledge in integrated business planning (Oliver Wight) advantage
- Knowledge of using an ERP system (QAD)
- Strong MS Excel & report writing skills (VBA, CRM, Qlikview other Business Intelligence tools - nice to have)
- Knowledge in the use of MS Office
- Knowledge in the use of MS Project
- Graduate level of education with experience in business analysis and/or customer roles. Additional supply chain qualifications or equivalent technical experience necessary.
