Working for a fabulous company based in Swindon we have an opportunity for a supply chain assistant. 
Working with the carriage team you will be ensuring that the tasks from the call centre are efficiently managed and ensure the suppliers are turning around deliveries most effectively.

Run Daily reports to manage your despatch area and follow up with means necessary; ensuring suppliers are despatching orders within the specified time frame.
Develop a good relationship with all suppliers contacting them on a daily basis.
Keeping a strong communication with other departments to analyse and review any lines that need to be acted upon and ensure all correct procedures are followed.
Help identify any potential problems and any processes that can help maximise sales
Working on spreadsheets daily to ensure that all forecasting information is relevant and correct and that if any problems arise, it can be resolved swiftly and in a timely manner, informing those in which it affects.

As well as the below this role would suit someone who is outgoing and a natural problem solver, and someone who likes to get the job done.

Excellent interpersonal skills
Articulate with the ability to communicate effectively
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Possess a flexible approach with good team working skills
Demonstrates good organisational skills including an ability to prioritise effectively, deliver high quality work to deadlines
Good level of excel
The ability to pick up new systems quickly
