OVERVIEW
City Recruitment Group are recruiting for an exciting opportunity that has come available in Birmingham. Our client is looking for a Supply Chain Planner on a permanent basis, the role is paying up to £26,000 per annum plus excellent working benefits.
YOUR NEW ROLE
As a Supply Chain Planner, you will be responsible for monitoring the production capacity plans for finished goods across the technology platform. You will be resolving planning issues and monitoring logistic supply flows to the destination warehouses. As part of your role you will be running monthly supply reviews and contributing your input to integrated business planning reviews to agree upon supply costs, inventory targets, customer service and effective capacity planning. Also as a Supply Chain Planner you will be developing strong links with manufacturing sites to ensure supply plans are running smoothly and correctly with appropriate labour and technical resources and more.
To be considered for this role you must have the following,
- CIPS or equivalent professional qualification is desirable
- PC literate and competent in all current MS office packages
- Operational knowledge of SAP, OAP or equivalent
- Experience in operational management with supply planning
- Effective communication, interpersonal skills
- Ideally degree educated in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business
