Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties: Ensuring timely deliveries and responding and promptly resolving wide ranging customer queries. Dealing with the coordination of International exports, mainly to the Middle East. Developing positive relationships with freight and external logistics companies to ensure the best courier rates for UK dispatches. Improving customer service systems and processes Working closely with the Operations Team to ensure seamless deliveries.
Providing accurate, timely financial information to support KPI reporting Tailoring packaging requirements to avoid excess delivery charges.
Key Experiences & Skills:
Due to the nature of the role, we are inviting applications from candidates with strong Customer Service skills and logistics experience.
Key attributes and skills: Previous experience with the sole responsibility for the success of key tasks
Exceptional Customer Service skills and highly organised. The ability to prioritise and work under pressure and to deadlines
Proven experience in a freight / export role essential Experience of production planning would be advantageous
Excellent communication and negotiation skills .Ability to work with spreadsheets. Knowledge of supply chain and e-commerce practices desirable Strong written, verbal and analytical skills Good team player with a can-do attitude Flexible approach to daily tasks and work load
