JOB TITLE: Customer Service Administrator (Export)

LOCATION: Midsomer Norton, Somerset

SALARY: To £22,000 per annum, pro rata

Are you a Customer Services professional? Worked within exports? seeking a new challenge? Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Administrator to support the Customer Service, Sales and Distribution Managers for an initial 3 month contract. You will be directly responsible for issuing the day to day shipping documentation, organising collections for shipping, raising sales invoices and dealing with any administrative task that relates to the shipping department.

Your duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Processing and progressing orders, to give the customer exact details of his/her order, status, progress, latest delivery details, problems, alternatives, etc. in line with Company KPI’s.
  • Recording customer order information accurately, by telephone, fax and email.
  • Managing and expediting customer orders.
  • Handle customer complaints and escalating where necessary.
  • Processing customer complaints and credit notes in line with Company KPI’s, thus pinpointing any problems and avoiding unpaid invoices as a result of such delays.
  • Liaise directly with the Sales Managers, having a positive attitude, being pro-active, helpful and listening and making suggestions.
  • To provide excellent customer service to meet the expectations and requirements of both internal and external customers.

You will need:

  • Customer focused with excellent communication skills, written and telephone skills are essential.
  • Excellent organisational skills, accuracy & attention to detail
  • Good IT skills : MS Word, Outlook and Excel.
  • Understanding numeric data
  • Team player, also able to work using own initiative
  • Able to work to deadlines
