Contracts Manager (Facades): London City Facades is a leading manufacturer and installer of quality facades. We offer a full service of design, fabrication and installation. We have a strong and trusted reputation and a pipeline of projects in place for 2019 and beyond.

We are seeking an experienced Construction Contracts Manager / Senior Project Manager to take responsibility for the delivery of Company projects, ensuring profitable, on time and quality completion.

The role reports directly into the Managing Director and will work proactively as part of the senior management team to ensure that contracts are delivered on time and on budget.

You will develop and implement professional contract management processes, ensuring appropriate, effective and efficient delivery of all client projects.

You will ensure the right manpower and work plans are in place for each project and continually review delivery against agreed milestones. In addition, you will provide the interface between clients and site, pro-actively identifying any issues, seeking solutions and ensuring that we deliver the best service to our clients.

You will be an inspirational & resilient leader, pro-actively seeking ways to get the best out of your teams to deliver excellent projects.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:

With a background as a Senior Project Manager or Contracts Manager you will be adept at managing mixed teams of employees and sub-contractors across multiple sites. You will have a sound knowledge of project management processes, health and safety and manpower planning.

You will be a pro-active and commercial problem solver, always seeking opportunities to exceed customer expectations and resolving quickly any issues that do arise.

You will have an excellent knowledge of budget management and be able to keep firm control of costs. Strong project management experience is essential, as is the ability to demonstrate project delivery through others.

With experience of leading a package of works, with fully integrated relationship between design, construction and commercial activities, you will always demonstrate a 'can-do’ attitude whilst understanding the impact of your decisions on all aspects of the project.

To be successful in this role you will need to have a deep understanding of health and safety, design / procurement / construction / completion planning, programming and progress reporting.
