Operations Manager

ISCA Recruitment Limited are recruiting an Operations Manager for their client based on the outskirts of Exeter. The Operations Manager will be the main point of contact between different departments providing essential feedback and communication to ensure that all aspects of production come together in a timely and cost effective manner.

The Role

• To ensure effective communication between departments is ongoing to maintain continuous improvement
• To support the production planning and ensuring the business is adequately resourced
• Provide training of staff and managers to ensure that everyone is performing effectively
• To be the leader of your teams and to motivate your staff to achieve production process
• Managing budgets and costs effectively in respect of the planning process
• Ensuring KPIs are in place and production targets are met
• Implementation of new policies and procedures relating to operations

The Person

The successful Operations Manager will possess the following skills as well as a proven track record in a similar environment. An engineering / manufacturing back is desirable however not essential
