A Global Accountancy Firm are looking for a HR Benefits Category Procurement Director to play a vital role in directing the corporate strategy for HR Benefits. With this category being a major part of their reputation of staff retention and management, you will be shaping the sourcing strategies for all aspects around Benefits such as Healthcare Packages, Life Insurance, Dental and Vision, Retirement Plans, and Wellness Programs. With a $600m spend to utilize for the North America region, and a team of 3, you will be meeting with Senior Stakeholders and Executives regularly to guide them through your sourcing plans and moving the overall Procurement strategy forward.

As a HR Benefits Category Procurement Director, you will be:

  • Controlling the sourcing plans for Staff Benefits such as Healthcare Packages, Life Insurance, Dental and Vision, Retirement Plans, Wellness Programs
  • Developing strong relationships with key stakeholders, and communicating you're the procurement strategy and progress through regular meetings
  • Completing local and regional sourcing deals, and collaborating with local stakeholders in planning Procurement projects
  • Leading complex negotiations and RFP's with the aim of improving the sourcing strategies to reach cost reduction targets
  • Managing all people related activities such as performance, compensation and learning, for respective staff
  • Building strong relationships with existing and new vendors, and minimizing contractual risk with these vendors



To be a HR Benefits Category Procurement Director, you must have:

  • A strong background with HR Services Procurement Management, particularly within areas such as Benefits, Pension Schemes, Healthcare Plans and Insurance
  • Experience working in a global and complex organisation
  • Strong stakeholder management, with the global mindset to influence these leaders
  • Deep data analysis and presentation skills, through Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
  • The ability to travel occasionally throughout the North-East region of the US for stakeholder meetings and project implementation
  • A Bachelors' degree within Human Resources, Supply Chain Management or any other relevant discipline
