I am delighted to be supporting my market leading client in recruiting a Buying Assistant

This position is a full-time, permanent role working Monday - Friday and offering a great development opportunity!

All backgrounds or levels of experience will be considered as long as you have the drive and determination to work hard in order to become an asset within a small and supportive team.

This role encompasses all elements of procurement support, administration and customer service and is open to anyone with great communication skills, the ability to learn new processes quickly and the desire to grow and develop their skills.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

- answering the phone
- managing questions and queries from clients
- administration such as raising invoices, order processing
- supporting with the purchasing of a high number of parts to go into the manufacturing process
- arranging deliveries and coordinating shipments
- using Excel to manage stock control
- dealing with and chasing suppliers

These duties will develop as you get to grips with the role and the team and this is where the development and career prgression comes in! As you prove youself to be a hardworking, dedicated and proactive employee you will be rewarded both in terms of responibility salary! Sounds good right?!

In an ideal world you will have experience within an office environment and be able to bring transferrable skills you have gained with you. A working knowledge of Excel would also be really beneficial!
