Supply Chain Planner, Egham - Up to £28,000

We're looking for a Supply Chain Planner to join our client based near Egham. You will have a wealth of experience in the full supply chain process from end to end, including creating production schedules, both monthly and weekly, considering production constraints along with a fast-paced and dynamic sales environment, whilst acting as first point of contact for all escalations.

Offering a salary of £28,000 for the right individual, you will successfully monitor and control the supply plan inline with sales forecasts.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Proactively work across teams for effective communication
  • Work collaboratively with other planners in the team to create and deliver short term and long term supply plan within agreed cost in the most optimised way
  • Manage suppliers to ensure timely and accurate production of products and converse the recovery plan to stakeholders and relevant departments to minimise shortage in supply
  • Manage the direct import supply of products to customers and nominated warehouses against company requirements
  • Management of complex customers; raising purchase orders, provide supplier shipping instructions and plan the phasing of delivery requirements
  • Assisting line manager with reports and daily analysis to improve overall supply performance
  • Manage goods receipt notes and ensure container receipts are added to management system, raising purchase credit memos where applicable
  • Cross train and be able to provide support to other areas of the Supply Chain function as and when required
  • Work with Senior planner to analyse demand vs. supply and provide business with improvement plan, to be one of the key players in the continuous development of planning processes

Who we're looking for:

We are looking for a candidate with previous experience in Supply Chain planning. You will have excellent communication and organisation skills.

  • Degree educated (or equivalent experience), preferably in Business, Supply Chain Management or Mathematical degree
  • Proved record of 3 years of working experience in Supply Chain field
  • Experience and competency with Microsoft software, especially extensive knowledge of Excel
  • Experience in using SAP, ERP system
  • Very strong analytical skills, attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced working environment, with a "can do" attitude and willingness to help
