Role Purpose

Identify areas of our business which require improvements i.e. operational processes, cost control, customer service, attention to detail and to work with colleagues to resolve these accordingly

Responsibilities

  • Work as a team to provide support and assistance to colleagues and line manager as well as providing excellent customer service at all times
  • Build close relationships with all our Customers, offices, Overseas agents and Service providers
  • Manage operational files from start to finish
  • Actively plan and co-ordinate your working day taking ownership of the business you manage operationally
  • Assist and advise customers of shipments, arrival, clearances and deliveries
  • Take ownership of your own operational accounts
  • Pro-active in your response to service issues
  • Maintain a suitable level of data entry, which will be monitored
  • Handling Import documentation
  • Building strong customer relationships
  • Assisting customers with their enquiries and have a proactive response to Service Issues
  • Damage reporting/ claim reporting
  • Health and Safety
  • Ensure all QSHE directives are implemented
  • Supporting the team in daily operational activities
