The role

RM Resources, part of RM Group have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Delivery Team Leader. The role will be based at Nottingham NG17 9LE. The office is modern and has a great feel and culture.

The role of the Procurement team is to ensure both availability of product, at the lowest cost, ensuring quality standards and, on time delivery is achieved.

As Supply Chain Delivery Team Leader you will report directly to the Senior Buyer and be a key member within the department. You will lead and manage a team of Supply Chain Delivery Buyers overseeing their achievement of KPI's, performance and development.

Skills & experience

  • Extensive Purchasing experience within a fast moving environment.
  • Knowledge and experience of procurement and operational processes with a strong understanding of planning and forecasting techniques.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work closely with suppliers and internal colleagues.
  • Extensive use of Excel and Office as well as ERP systems.
  • Experience of successfully managing multiple supplier accounts.
  • Capable of managing conflicting priorities and able to organise workload as required.
  • An understanding of overseas purchasing and shipping including air, sea and road freight.
  • Experience of people management, coaching and training other team members.
  • Working towards CIPs qualification or degree equivalent.
