We are looking for a Logistics Co-ordinator & Scheduler to take responsibility for Scheduling of Testing services.

Your role will involve:

  • Scheduling our Testing services of 4 engineers and 10 sub-contractors attending construction sites across the UK
  • Responding to urgent client bookings and optimising the Testing service bookings to maximise availability
  • Provide Sales support to audit and convert new Testing Bookings, ensuring high quality information is provided to the engineers
  • Liaising with Construction Site Managers on Health & Safety issue to ensure the engineers can attend site with the correct risk assessments
  • Deliver KPIs on number of sites visited, engineer utilisation, and invoiced revenue of Testing services
  • Liaising with subcontractors on fee quotations, availability, booking and completion of Testing services
  • Sending out ALT collateral & supplies to test engineers
  • Preparing weekly and monthly reports
  • Answering incoming calls, taking clear messages and directing calls as required
  • Answering general emails and postal correspondence with contacts and suppliers
  • Arranging travel and accommodation plans for the testing team when required

Ideal skills:

  • Effective working with internal and external customers
  • Clear and precise communication skills
  • Analysing and reporting from large data sets
  • Excellent numerical skills including small business accounting
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Excellent time management
  • GSCE Maths and English (Grade C or above)
  • 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Attention to detail and ability to juggle many tasks
  • Able to work well under pressure
  • Problem solving approach to task
  • Professional manner
  • Geographical knowledge of the UK
