A great opportunity has arisen for an ambitious individual to implement their logistics, warehousing and distribution experience as Warehouse Operations Manager with a dynamic and rapidly expanding logistics provider on a full-time, permanent basis in Corby, Northamptonshire. This is a truly exciting time to join the company that specialises in FMCG, Retail, Fashion, Supply Chain, 3PL and Distribution.

You will plan and develop in conjunction with the Operations Director the operational imperatives across the Corby site. To ensure the seamless delivery against plan of these imperatives through leading, monitor and measuring operational issues that will deliver a high performing and engaging workplace environment.

You will have developed your career within a warehouse environment previously and possess excellent man-management/supervisory skills. It will suit an individual who is looking to make a mark for themselves within the business and drive this already successful business to the next stage of its growth.

It is a multi-client and KPI performance driven environment with team responsibility for up to 220 staff. You will need to fully understand process, productivity and quality control and as this is a highly operational role, you will constantly be looking at ways to increase productivity, introduce change and manage stringent KPI targets and SLA agreements to exceed expectations. In addition to the provision of key metrics into the Board, you will take responsibility for budget control, and the training, coaching and development of your team of Supervisors and Team Leaders.

As the business provides logistics solutions for a number of multi-channel retailers and with experience in managing in a fast paced logistics environment.

This is a high pressure, fast moving operation and would suit an ambitious, forward thinking and dynamic individual who has a real focus on the customer. As a natural leader, you will possess excellent communication skills and have a positive, can-do attitude with continuous Improvement coming naturally to you. WMS and sound IT skills would be an advantage.

Salary is £60k-£65k plus company car allowance, pension and other excellent benefits.
