SALARY: £30,000 to £35,000 + bonus
COMPANY / ROLE
Our Client is a well-established organisation in the Fasteners industry, the company supply a wide range of fasteners such as stainless-steel fasteners, fixings, crews, industrial consumables, tools to a variation of different sectors including engineering, industrial, manufacturing, construction across the whole of the UK.
The company is now looking to recruit a Buyer, Purchasing Manager to join their team, the role will be to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with customers and suppliers whilst striving to continually reduce spend for cost of goods sold relative to overall turnover, the ideal candidate will be qualified as minimum MCIPS, will have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in purchasing based roles, will preferably have sector experience - will be hardworking and hungry for success.
Principal responsibilities / Knowledge / Experience
1. Minimum 3 years of proven sales success in the Purchasing Industry.
2. Buying experience - essential
3. Maintain a professional relationship with customers and ensure they are kept satisfied with the companies services.
4. To manage the key account list to maximise sales and profit
5. Effective Communicator.
6. Prompt and accurate reporting to the Directors as required.
7. Computer literate.
