Fantastic opportunity to join this market leading organisation undergoing transformational change in it's Procurement team as a Buyer, reporting in to Head of Procurement

Your new role

2 x Buyers required - One covering Direct spend and the other Indirect

Take responsibility for ensuring Procurement best practice with an aim of leveraging best value for money from goods and services expenditure.through competitive tendering, negotiation and preferential contract terms
* Run competitive processes to select fit for purpose suppliers across a range of goods and services
* Specification writing and support
* Conduct supply market research to understand supply challenges
* Issue RFQ / RFP and manage responses
* Analyse supplier proposals
* Provide commercial recommendations
* Negotiate with suppliers and recommend suppliers
* Establish contracts / T&C's with selected suppliers

What you'll need to succeed

* Proven background within Procurement, running tenders and basic Contracts knowledge
* Proven negotiator with suppliers
* Influencing skills at all levels of the business
* Ability to make decisions under pressure
* Good level of Emotional intelligence

What you'll get in return
