We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Senior Buyer to join the team. The Senior Buyer will be responsible for implementation of systems and processes and the management of supplier relationships. Minimise Risk and endure and maintain a strong legal position during all aspects of the Procurement process

Key Responsibilityties

  • Ensure efficient purchasing
  • Purchasing of MRO goods and CAPEX and project related services
  • Approving suppliers and selecting preferred sources for specific products
  • Negotiate terms of business, competitive pricing, service level agreements, NDA's, maintenance and purchase contracts as required
  • Monitoring supply base and conducting rationalisation programmes, in line with purchasing department procedures
  • Be part of commodity sourcing projects/tenders to gain efficiencies
  • Manage internal customer and supplier issues from enquiry through to resolution
  • Provide administrative support to the department
