Are you a Procurement Advisor looking for your next temporary assignment? We have an exciting opportunity to join a well established Oil & Gas Company based in Hemel Hempstead.
Position: Procurement Advisor
Salary: c£40,000
Job Type: 12 Months Fixed Term Contract (with the possibility of permanent after the 12 Months)
Location: Hemel Hempstead
Reporting to the Financial Controller our Client is looking for some one who has excellent interpersonal skills, a real self-starter that is excellent at negotiating and decision making.
The Role:
Procurement of goods and services.
Administer and ensure the integrity of the companies purchasing policy and procedures.
To liaise with suppliers/contractors placing orders and resolving queries.
Responsible with Procurer for deciding on suppliers.
Provide insurance support to the financial controller.
Issue contracts and purchase orders.
Negotiating and implementing framework agreements.
Negotiating and agreeing Terms and Conditions with suppliers.
Manage tender process.
Deal with enquires.
Dealing with Auditors.
Experience Required:
5 Years experience within commercial organisations
Good understanding of negotiating Terms and Conditions
Good working knowledge of Terms and Agreements
Education educated to A Level
