M&Y Maintenance and Construction is now recruiting a Senior Buyer to work with our talented Commercial team in St Helens.

About the role

The Senior Buyer is responsible for ensuring the materials required for construction, refurbishment, planned and maintenance works are provided to schedule, with the required quality and according to projected budgets.

The Senior Buyer will have a vital part to play in helping to ensure the profitability of contracts as they are responsible for ensuring that the most cost-effective and appropriate materials are purchased

The ideal candidate will be an experienced buyer with a demonstrable track record of buying for new build and refurbishment work. They will have an understanding of OJUE legislation and dynamic purchasing system (DPS) would be advantageous.

We employ over 200 permanent employees across our state of the art head office in St Helens and our local depots in Oldham and Poulton-le-Fylde.
