Procurement & Accounts Team Leader

6-month FTC

£53,000 - £59,000 + Bens

8.30 - 5pm

We are pleased to be recruiting for one of our clients, an accredited business with sites throughout England and Ireland. This role will be reporting to the Group Head of Finance, they are looking for an experienced manager with strong leadership skills to manage and lead the team of 14.

This role will lead and manage a centralised procurement function. You will be responsible for day to day transaction processing and maintenance of accounting software systems.

The ideal candidate would be a qualified accountant with knowledge of SAP and Sage with demonstrable experience in impacting the quality and success of a commercial business.

Responsibilities:

  • Experienced in managing Sales and Purchase Ledger processes
  • Experience of producing month end reporting of cash, debtors, creditors and other balance sheet control accounts to tight reporting deadlines for multiple business units
  • Produce monthly trial balances.
  • Management of the Shared Service team.
  • Using SAP systems to ensure that anticipated business benefits are delivered on time and to budget.
