Following the creation of an innovative new business unit, esteemed FMCG Major seeks a change management specialist to drive efficiencies across their direct procurement practise. Entering a newly-created area of the business, the successful individual will partner with global executives to create a more dynamic supply chain by implementing innovative new processes, whilst extracting value from their supply base. Joining the business during an unprecedented period of growth, this position has a clear path into senior leadership within 12-18 months.
Procurement Project Specialist - Innovation, Job Profile:
- Partnering with global stakeholders to determine the strategy for new product ranges and expanding the firm's global reach
- Working with a broad supply base, defining how to maximise profitability/value from each product sourced
- Liaising with various areas of the business including procurement, supply chain, sourcing, legal, finance and operations
- Managing external relationships with Suppliers and Clients to ensure the consistent development of new products
Procurement Project Specialist requirements:
- Ability to engage and influence stakeholders to drive new ideas
- Experience influencing change within a leading organisation
- Project management experience ideally with change management/process improvement across procurement & supply chain
- Strong numerate skills, including experience working with Excel and data analytics tools
- Keen to learn, take on responsibility and progress quickly
