We are currently recruiting a Group Supply Chain Manager for a leading business based in West Yorkshire. With a long history and reputation for quality manufactured products, the business are searching from a Group Supply Chain Manager to take an active role leading supply chain turnaround projects across all aspects of the supply chain function.

The role will have autonomy and responsibility of developing and implementing the Supply Chain strategy, plans, KPIs and SLA's for multiple sites across the dedicated region. The Group Supply Chain Manager must have proven leadership qualities that will mentor, coach and develop individuals that directly report into the post while empowering the rest of the teams to drive performance.

The successful candidate will have proven experience as a Supply Chain lead within an engineering or manufacturing business, be highly commercial and have a strong understanding people development, corporate objectives and performance measures within a supply chain environment

The role currently covers; Warehousing, Shipping, Purchasing, Planning and Inventory Management.

*Improve Demand Planning Forecast
*Implement S&OP

The Group Supply Chain Manager role calls for an experienced and professionally qualified Supply Chain professional with considerable experience in customer and supplier management ideally within manufacturing/engineering environments.

Key Responsibilities will include:
-Development & delivery of integrated processes to achieve optimal supply chain performance through the relevant sector supply chains
-Managing and reporting on work in progress and physical stock to meet targets across the business
-Ensuring compliance with the Company's Supply Chain/Logistics Policies and standards
-Be a leader, with a passion for supporting the development of people, whilst maintaining the commitment to make difficult decisions as necessary

-Strong commercial acumen
-Ability to build an end-to-end supply chain and logistics functions that are synonymous with outstanding customer service, operational excellence and optimal profitability
-Demonstrate a track record of success in leading and developing multi-disciplined teams
-Have the ambition to progress within an innovative global operation
-Have the ability to lead a multi-disciplined team
-Be a proven change enabler, driving Supply Chain improvements and operational excellence
-Degree/MBA or equivalent
