Contracts Manager
A family-owned, medium sized building contractor in Hertfordshire is looking for a Contracts Manager to join its successful team.
The Company
The Contracts Manager will join a company of 30 full-time staff - with many more long-term sub-contractors - working across many building sectors including Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Education, Community and Health. They have a great reputation both as an employer and as a provider of building services. Turnover is around £15m and value of projects being won is increasing, with a recent win being for an £11m project.
The Role
The Contracts Manager will cover projects across all sectors. At the moment there are more Residential than other but this will vary over time. This is a hands-on role so you will be in the office for about 70% of the time, with the rest on site and with customers.
The Person
The successful Contracts Manager will have substantial experience on contracts worth between £1m and £2.5m, preferably across multiple sectors.
You will likely have a trade / construction background and have moved into Contracts Management at least a few years ago.
