After a period of substantial growth, my client has secured their place as the leading global technology provider. As the company continues through a period of unprecedented growth, you will have the opportunity to lead a project from cradle to grave and be fully involved in the end to end procurement process. You will have significant experience within construction or engineering, with an understanding of technology/infrastructure being beneficial to your position.

Having recently centralised their global hub for strategic sourcing, you will be responsible for implementing your own strategies with fully autonomy to spearhead necessary changes. Partnering with C-suite stakeholders across the board and managing one of the largest annual technology spends in the world, this is a fantastic opportunity to learn from seasoned professionals and be a part of the one of the biggest global projects.

As a Procurement Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the company's cost savings and revenue generation business goals through the sourcing process for large spend category areas
• Drive all aspects of complex strategic sourcing process, including but not limited to, taking lead on contract negotiations of business and pricing terms and conditions, conducting research and providing benchmark data on pricing and/or other key terms
• Present new products, technologies and services from existing or new suppliers to clients
  

As a procurement sourcing specialist, you will have:

• Strong background in Engineering or Construction is essential
• Installation background is preferred with knowledge in the following areas beneficial but by no means essential
  • transport elements (routers, ROADM, WDM, network elements)
  • Primary and secondary DC power systems (PDBs, cabling requirements, BDFBs)
  • Fibre optics (cabling and applications)
• Knowledge of strategic sourcing ideally in networks and infrastructure
• Degree + CIPS beneficial
