We are a highly ambitious business and are targeting revenues of approaching £50 million having grown our top line at more than 40% per annum over the past three years and now has a 50,000 square foot warehouse and manufacturing facility based in Colchester, Essex.
The Project Manager - Operations Role:
Part of the Management team the Project Manager - Operations will define and execute the supply chain strategy which will support a constantly evolving global business. The role-holder will have the strategic responsibility to drive a continuous improvement program and execute complex projects across the supply chain to support business growth.
Project Manager - Operations Key Accountabilities:
+ Project Management, using established project methodologies to execute strategic projects across the business. Managing and monitoring timescales, costs, risks, change control, issues and dependencies; benefit realisation, milestones and outcomes; stakeholders and communications; and budgets. Stakeholder Management: Engaging with a diverse group of stakeholders to meet the project milestones.
+ Delivering complex change management programs across the Distribution Centre, Supply Chain, Procurement and fulfilment departments.
+ The production and analysis of statistics across the operation.
+ Trouble shooting across the business identifying and resolving any issues that affect the customer, efficiency or capacity of the operation.
+ Create project documentation, SOP’s, and enhancement requirements for the WMS, ERP and MRP systems.
+ Improve supply chain operational efficiency.
+ Develop a Supply Chain strategy that will allow the company to keep its competitive edge whilst developing the customer proposition.
+ Supporting and executing a continuous improvement plan across all areas of the Operation.
+ Identify, analyse and resolve a wide range of issues, providing quick and decisive solutions within the context of existing policies and identify the need for revision or creation of policies
+ Develop policies and procedures for distribution processes in order to ensure optimization and compliance with standards and regulations.
+ Completing a diagnostic review of supply chain processes and procedures and oversee the process re-engineering change plan as required.
+ Adhoc duties may be assigned.
We are looking to interview candidates that have a strong background in project management within a logistics, supply chain, retail or FMCG context. A good track record of project management and delivery is required for this role and any experience gained specifically in the Retail, 3PL, E-commerce sectors would be a distinct advantage though not a pre-requisite. The successful candidates should have a Prince2, MSP, PMP or equivalent qualification. This is a rare opportunity to join a great brand and to deliver high-value projects.
