Buyer (Europe) - Iconic Global Organisation - Central London - £35k + excellent package

Following a period of aggressive expansion, this internationally-renowned organisation seeks an ambitious buyer to join their award-winning procurement function.

Working out of their global HQ in central London, the ambitious buyer will cater for an annual spend in excess of £50 million as well as being accountable for a variety of direct and indirect procurement categories. The ambitious buyer will be responsible for the end to end tendering and procurement process, joining a forward-thinking culture that offers accelerated career progression and international remit with a particular focus on innovative projects spanning throughout Europe.

Buyer (Europe) Responsibilities:

• Accountable for the end-to-end procurement and tendering lifecycle, catering for a variety of direct and indirect procurement categories, including travel, IT, purchasing etc.
• Develop and maintain relations with a variety of global stakeholders and suppliers
• Responsible for contract analysis and implementing cost-efficient strategies across a variety of direct and indirect procurement categories

Buyer (Europe) Requirements:

• Proven track record of effectively performing the end to end tendering lifecycle across a large organisation
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Degree level and MCIPs desirable but not essential
