I'm working with a world leading business based in Nuneaton. They are in need an immediate start for a 10 month maternity cover. The role is a Buyer paying up to £28,000 per annum,

The Role:

- Review procurement initiatives with business stakeholders and carrying out market analysis and assessments for cost saving
- Assisting with preparation of initiatives status presentation to Procurement Committee
- Assisting with development & implementation of agreed initiative to finalizing of contracts
- Monitor & report of saving and service performance
- Working to tight deadlines with multiple projects
- Responding to requests to procure/source items not in the oracle system whilst liaising with one off suppliers not already in Oracle
- Liaising with supplier Account Managers to resolve queries
- Maintain & update supplier catalogues and contact details in the Oracle system
- Completion of new vendor forms and supporting documentation
- Assist with completion of internal audits for Procurement
- Ad-hoc duties relating to all aspects of the procurement role The Benefits:

About You:

- Good knowledge of Microsoft office, Excel & PowerPoint
- Prior Experience in Purchasing/Procurement as a buyer is key
- Good communication & interpersonal skills required to liaise with all levels of customers & suppliers both internally & externally
- Experience & knowledge of Accounts Payable and a basic accounting knowledge would be an advantage
- Good analytical skills for cost analysis
- Experience of Oracle is preferred although not essential
- A self-starter and motivated to achieve results
