Role – Sales and Purchasing Administrator
Salary – £28,000 per annum
Location –Thame, Oxfordshire
Are you seeking a new opportunity as a Sales and Purchasing Administrator?
Atlas Employment is pleased to present a hard-working, resourceful and passionate Sales and Purchasing Administrator the opportunity to join an organisation based in Thame, Oxfordshire. The purpose of this role is to build valuable customer relationships and provide administrative support to the sales and distribution department. The successful candidate will be confident and enjoy working both under their own initiative and as part of a team.
What will you be doing as a Sales and Purchasing Administrator?
- Liaising with customers and developing good working relationships
- Managing customer accounts
- Taking orders, issuing quotes and sending invoices
- Monitoring the delivery of orders, ensuring these are achieved within a predetermined timeframe
- Recording information and producing relevant data and statistics
- Analysing data to produce reports
- Attending daily planning meetings

- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Five GCSE’s (A-C) / NVQ/SVQ Level 3 or similar qualifications
- Knowledge of import and export processes
- Full UK driving licence and access to vehicle
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Good organisation and time management skills
- The ability to work in pressured environments and according to tight deadlines
- Assertiveness and a keen eye for detail
- Flexible and adaptive approach to work
- Good communication and decision-making skills
