Purchasing & Supply Chain Coordinator - Chesterfield - £25k-£35k

Chase and Holland are recruiting exclusively for a well-established engineering business based in Chesterfield who are looking to recruit a Purchasing & Supply Chain Coordinator on a full time permanent basis. With a strong worldwide client base and a catalogue of respected and reliable products, this new role will be key to the company's operations and activities. The role will be varied and will involve purchasing and control of stock, production planning of warehouse staff and logistics.

Purchasing & Supply Chain Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Purchasing - of Products, Spare Parts, Packaging & Stock Control; to research, evaluate and buy stock
  • Control of Goods In/Out
  • Production Planning
  • Logistics - Overseeing collection of goods and spares by freight forwarders and couriers
  • Other Factory/Warehouse related administration tasks

Key Requirements and Preferences:

  • Previously working in a Purchasing/Supply Chain role
  • Mechanical engineering industry sector experience
  • Good communication skills to communicate well with both suppliers and employees

Standard working hours - Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
