Simmons are world leaders in the manufacture of epoxy resin laboratory worksurfaces. We currently export over 50% of all sales. We also import raw materials and other components. Due to a future retirement we are looking for someone to take over the role of organising and expediting our exports and imports.
This will involve the booking in of orders, coordinating with the Production Manager to ensure the meeting of lead times, finding the most efficient way of sending a consignment to each market and generating the required documentation. This is a wide ranging role so you will also be involved with UK sales and many other aspects of the company’s business.
A working knowledge of importing and exporting is essential.
This is a full-time role based in Coventry (CV6) and offers a starting salary of £20k - £22k plus a profit related bonus, 28 days holiday including bank holidays, free on-site parking and a company pension.
