Buyer, Food - London - up to £31k

Do you have a strong background in Food Buying/Category Management?Do you have a genuine passion for Food but looking for a new challenge?

Our client is a fast growing hospitality business based in Central London. They are now looking for a Buyer to join the business in order to continue the delivery of the best possible service to their customers.

So what does this Buyer - Food role involve?

  • Sourcing the great quality products and negotiating best prices

  • Trend and new product innovation market analysis

  • Working cross functionally with marketing and product development teams

  • Forecasting and sourcing products for menus

  • Support the operation by making sure every product is available

  • Maintaining and development supplier relationships

  • Accurate database entry for product information to ensure all ingredients and allergens are identified

What qualities will you need to be successful in this Buyer - Food role?

  • Buying experience with a food retailer or hospitality business

  • Fantastic communication skills and confidence in reporting directly into senior management

  • Professional, organised, methodical and efficient

  • To show a willingness to learn and self-develop
