Supplier Management Process Lead
London
£65-70k + benefits

My client is a Global organisation going through a period of change and globalisation of its Procurement and Supplier Management function. As such, they have a new role for a Supplier Management Process Lead to define Procurement policies, processes and procedures to meet customer expectations, external regulations and internal requirements. The role will manage the development, documentation and improvement of Procurement processes covering supplier registration, due diligence, qualification, selection, contracting, on-boarding, classification and supplier management. You will build and maintain collaborative relationships with Quality, Finance, Audit, Risk and Compliance Functions to ensure policies and processes are standardised and integrated to operate efficiently and effectively.

Role:
*Define Supplier Lifecycle Management processes to ensure that suppliers are selected, and products / services are delivered to meet corporate, quality, delivery and cost requirements
*Own and maintain the required policy, process and procedures to deliver effective supplier selection and management including standard reporting and KPIs
*Identify and implement opportunities to improve the reputation, quality, delivery and cost of products and services through better supplier selection and management
*Work closely with the Procurement Category Teams to develop short, medium and long term plans
*Define and own an annual plan of policy and process development and improvement projects
*Manage communications and training (as required) of changes to policies and processes
*Collaborate with teams internally to define and implement standardised supplier qualification, selection and management processes and tools globally
*Work closely with the Quality team to develop and maintain an integrated approach to supplier assessment and management to deliver Total Quality Management within the supply chain
*Work with the Procurement Systems and Tools Manager to develop and implement systems and tools
*Maintain all Procurement / Supplier related Policy and Procedure documents and processes
*Lead the development and implementation of a new Business Process Management System (BPMS) for Procurement
*Lead and support Business/Procurement Audits as required and own the remediation of any non-compliances or implementation of improvement actions
*Represent Procurement internal/external groups promoting and enabling improvements to Procurement practices

Candidate:
*Relevant Procurement, Contracting and Supplier Management experience
*Ideally degree educated and Six Sigma qualified (preferred)
*Business process management and improvement experience
*Worked in multi-functional teams
*Strong negotiation skills
*Knowledge of Procurement / Supplier Management tools and systems development and implementation
*Sound Commercial acumen and strong interpersonal skills
*Can represent / interact across all levels of the business
